Kawasaki Introduces New Z500 ABS K awasaki says its all-new Kawasaki Z500 ABS motorcycle is "a dynamic addition to the Z series developed in parallel with the Ninja 500 motorcycle... that incorporates practical features for day-to-day riding enjoyment." The Z500's 451cc parallel-twin engine is based on the same engine platform found in the new Ninja 500. Its super- naked "Z" design gives it a distinctive look, with new LED triple headlight design. In the rider's compartment, you'll see a new high-contrast full LCD instrumenta- tion with smartphone connectivity and a new seat shape for "a more relaxed, sporty position." There is also an SE variation that features unique color schemes and graphics. The Z500 SE ABS is equipped with a high-grade full-color display with TFT (thin-film transistor) technology. The screen's background color is selectable to black or white, and the screen brightness adjusts auto - matically to suit available light. It also features an USB-C. Both models are currently available, with a price tag of $5599 for the Z500 ABS and $6299 for the Z500 SE ABS. CN WIND IN THE P38 Kawasaki has given the Z500 a fresh and more sporty look with several other upgrades.
