Kawasaki Debuts Ninja 7 Hybrid ABS
K
awasaki says its all-new Ninja 7
Hybrid ABS is a "versatile marvel de-
signed to function as a fuel-efficient city
commuter, a thrilling weekend ride, and a
silent, zero-emission model for restricted
areas."
The motorcycle's power unit integrates
a 451cc parallel-twin internal combustion
engine with a compact traction motor,
"offering instant acceleration and impres
-
sive fuel economy," says Kawasaki. The
Ninja 7 Hybrid has three distinct drive
modes—Sport Hybrid, Eco Hybrid and the
low-speed short-distance EV mode. "This
innovation caters to a range of riding
preferences and scenarios, delivering a
dynamic and efficient performance," says
Kawasaki.
Built for in-town convenience, the
Ninja 7 Hybrid motorcycle features
an idling-stop function, a walk-mode
reverse function, Automatic Launch
Position Finder (which returns the
transmission to first gear at a stop),
and a clutch-lever-less operation for
enhanced maneuverability. It has a
lightweight trellis frame that offers "a
relaxed yet sporty riding position," a high-
grade cockpit with smartphone connec-
tivity and full-color TFT instrumentation.
The Ninja 7 Hybrid ABS is currently
available with a $12,499 MSRP.
Kawasaki also offers a naked ver
