Kawasaki Debuts Ninja 7 Hybrid ABS K awasaki says its all-new Ninja 7 Hybrid ABS is a "versatile marvel de- signed to function as a fuel-efficient city commuter, a thrilling weekend ride, and a silent, zero-emission model for restricted areas." The motorcycle's power unit integrates a 451cc parallel-twin internal combustion engine with a compact traction motor, "offering instant acceleration and impres - sive fuel economy," says Kawasaki. The Ninja 7 Hybrid has three distinct drive modes—Sport Hybrid, Eco Hybrid and the low-speed short-distance EV mode. "This innovation caters to a range of riding preferences and scenarios, delivering a dynamic and efficient performance," says Kawasaki. Built for in-town convenience, the Ninja 7 Hybrid motorcycle features an idling-stop function, a walk-mode reverse function, Automatic Launch Position Finder (which returns the transmission to first gear at a stop), and a clutch-lever-less operation for enhanced maneuverability. It has a lightweight trellis frame that offers "a relaxed yet sporty riding position," a high- grade cockpit with smartphone connec- tivity and full-color TFT instrumentation. The Ninja 7 Hybrid ABS is currently available with a $12,499 MSRP. Kawasaki also offers a naked ver - sion of the Ninja 7 Hybrid, the Z7 Hybrid ABS. It's also available with an MSRP of $12,499.
