Suzuki Announces Race Teams S uzuki officially named its riders for the upcoming 2024 SuperMotocross season. The HEP Motorsports (450cc) and BARX Suzuki (250cc) teams are back under the Pipes Mo - torsports Group's direction. The 2024 Toyota Redlands BARX Suzuki squad will field a lineup of five riders competing in both 250 and 450 classes. HEP Motorsports returns with two squads under its canopy— Progressive Insurance Ecstar Suzuki and Twisted Tea Suzuki Presented by Progressive Insur - ance. The Progressive Insurance Ecstar Suzuki team features Ken Roczen (94) on the Suzuki RM- Z450. "I am excited to be back for 2024 with the Progressive Insur - ance ECSTAR Suzuki Team," Roczen said. "We have built a great foundation, and I am eager to continue to try and put our Suzuki on the podium. The team and I are very motivated!" HEP Motorsports' Twisted Tea Suzuki, Presented by Progres - sive Insurance effort carries on with veteran riders Kyle Ch- isholm (11) and Shane McElrath (12). Larry Brooks will continue as HEP's team manager. Toyota Redlands BARX Suzuki will primarily race the Suzuki RM-Z250 while also fielding one rider in the 450 class with the Suzuki RM-Z450. The team is made up of Preston Boespflug, Anthony Bourdon of France, Max Miller, Dillon Schwartz and Derek Drake, who will be the BARX team's lone 450cc rider. "I am looking forward to the RM-Z450 this season; this will be a whole new challenge for me that I'm incredibly excited about," said Drake. "We also have some new personnel this year that I enjoy working with, so it will be a great year!" Toyota Redlands BARX Suzuki will also support three amateur racers, Californians Nathan Abbott and Cole Timboe, and Illinoian Leo Tucker. The Toyota Redlands BARX Suzuki Team will be managed by James Coy. CN VOLUME ISSUE DECEMBER , P43 Ken Roczen will make up the Progressive Insurance Ecstar Suzuki Team under the HEP Motorsports Group banner. The Toyota Redlands BARX Suzuki Team will house four 250 riders and one 450 rider.
