A couple of snow-capped motorcycles made for a wintery end-
of-the-year cover 50 years ago... We looked back at some of the
highs and lows in motorcycling of 1973... We interviewed Al Eames
and Giacomo Agostini... We took a spin on three Grand Prix
motocrossers: a Montesa 360, Roger DeCoster's works Suzuki
RN370 and Brad Lackey's works Kawasaki 450... A stock Honda XL-
350 was compared to one that was modified by Gene Cannady… We
rode the British Tyran 125 and a pair of mini racers from Honda and
Suzuki.
