the EnduroGPs. Garcia topped
the first day with Verona 12.96
seconds behind while the four
Americans occupied overall
individual places 3-4-5-8.
"It's nasty," Oliveira said. "It's
a long day out there (more than
seven hours a day on average
through the first five days).
There are brutal transfers; the
tests are good, but the transfers
was pumped about the tests, so
it seems it's suiting them."
WORLD TROPHY
After the first day, the U.S. WT
team, comprised of Girroir, Cole
Martinez, Dante Oliveira and
Taylor Robert, were not only
atop the heap, but as a group,
they were significantly faster
than any other country despite
not winning any of the tests.
That honor belonged to Italy's
Andrea Verona and Josep
several times. Despite the long
days on their feet, what they
saw boosted them mentally.

landed here and started walking
the tests, all these guys were
so pumped. [Getting results in
racing is] also mental. When
they feel like, 'Hey, this is my
style of racing and the terrain!'
