P94 STUFF I DUNLOP SPORTMAX SLICK TIRE $ Prices Vary www.dunlopracing.com Dunlop's Sportmax Slick, the official tire of MotoAmerica, has been updated with new profiles, compounds and construction. The fronts are narrower for more precise turn-in and a new sidewall design provides more cushion and bump absorption. Both the front and rears have taller profiles, which Dunlop says can provide a more predictable change in the contact patch while leaned into the corner or driving out of the corner. The alphanumeric naming structure of the revised compounds is simplified, with R0 the softest and R8 the most durable. The Sportmax Slicks come in 17-, 12- and 10-inch sizes in multiple compounds, except the R8 compound is exclusive to the rear tires. DAINESE D-AIR RACING SUITS Mugello 3 $4999.95, Misano 3 $2799.95 www.dainese.com Dainese has two new racing suits for 2024, the Mugello 3 and the Misano 3, that are equipped with Dainese's latest D-air airbag systems. The new D-air airbag has two riding modes, road or track, and the gas generator can be swapped by the owner of the suit up to three times before the system needs replacing. Updates to comfort for 2024 include soft-edged nape and cuffs, a newly designed collar that puts less pressure on the neck, and a new elastic system on the back that has more flex. The Mugello 3 is made from perforated kangaroo leather, and the Misano 3, available in both men's and women's versions, is made from D-Skin 2.0 full-grain cowhide.
