U
sually once a year we get real nailbiters in MotoGP. In
2023, however, we've had two in two races. After very
nearly pulling off the impossible in Australia on a soft
tire, Jorge Martin (Prima Pramac Ducati) did some much-
needed surgery on the title deficit to Pecco Bagnaia (Ducati
Lenovo Team) by taking the Sprint and Sunday GP wins, the
latter coming after an intense dogfight involving Red Bull
KTM's Brad Binder and Bagnaia.
In Moto2, we're finally seeing the true potential of ultra-
impressive youngster Fermin Aldeguer (Beta Tools Speedup),
who did it easy for the pole position and won over champion-
elect Pedro Acosta (Red Bull KTM Ajo) and local hero
Somkiat Chantra (Idemitsu Honda Team Asia).
