We borrowed Larry Roeseler to ride our Husqvarna 510TX test bike
for photos, and they both were pictured on the cover 40 years ago...
The CMC/Diet Coke Trans-Cal Series visited Saddleback Park, where
George Holland, Je Hicks and John Whelchel took the Pro-class
wins. Hicks clinched the 250cc title... Kim Douglas won the Women's
MX Championship at Saddleback Park over Lisa Akin and Mercedez
Gonzalez... Sam Wills defeated Elmer Trett to win the IDBA Top Fuel
Championship in Missouri.
