Powersports apparel brand 509 has released
the Mach V Commander, a helmet that features
a fully integrated Cardo communications
system. Capable of connecting a network of
up to 14 other riders, the built-in comms also
include a microphone and JBL speakers
with noise-cancellation technology. The
helmet's injection-molded shell has a
system of vents and channels that help
move air using the venturi effect for
constant airflow. A built-in rechargeable
battery powers the Cardo and the
adjustable (bright, normal, and off) chase
light that's located on the rear spoiler.

model-specific mounting systems for installing on
Honda Africa Twins, Yamaha Teneres and a wide
range of late-model KTM and BMW ADV models.
The guards have compact aluminum frames
and mount directly on the handlebar ends with
ratcheting pre-positioned end-cap fasteners.
Adjustable vent louvers can be opened or closed
for controlling the amount of airflow, and the
