ow quickly the tide can
turn. At the end of the
Sprint race in Indonesia,
Francesco Bagnaia (Lenovo
Ducati) had just lost the lead
of a championship that three
months ago seemed all but his.
Jorge Martin (Prima Pramac
Ducati) had just won his fourth
Sprint race in a row, vaulting
into the title lead.
But it lasted a mere 13 laps
in the Sunday Grand Prix. In a
blunder of gigantic proportions,
Martin, miles in front, dumped
the red, white and purple Ducati
into the gravel trap, setting fire
to a certain 25 points and his
very short-lived title lead.
