TM Designworks has released its new line of FX
skid plates that have integrated linkage guards
for 2023-24 GasGas, KTM and Husqvarna off-road
motorcycles. The model-specific units are shaped
from impact-absorbing plastic that includes
silicone additives that reduce friction grab. The
plastic is formulated to flex and withstand heavy
abuse, and the integrated linkage guards make
for a snag-free surface. The FX skid plates are
available in OEM-matching colors and include
replaceable linkage wear pads.

The updated SM5 has a lightweight
thermo-injected shell that's made from
a polymer blend in varying degrees
of thickness that provides impact
management in conjunction with the
multi-density EPS liner. The sculpted
chinbar has a soft EPS zone covered
by flexible rubber, which helps prevent
injury to the collarbone, and multiple
air inlets and exhaust ports provide
extensive airflow.
