Supercross champion Jeremy McGrath, the new
flagship motocross tire from Maxxis, the Maxxcross
MX-IH, is made from newly formulated compounds
with a tread design optimized for the intermediate-
to-hard terrains encountered in Pro MX and SX
racing. Pentagon-shaped knobs along with grooved
half-shoulder knobs offer increased cornering
control and rider feel. The tire's lightweight carcass
combined with sturdy sidewalls minimize tire-roll
sensation through corners. The current MX-IH tire
lineup has two fronts and six rears ranging from 16
to 21 inches.
