T
he XL750 Transalp is finally
coming to the U.S. market for
the 2024 model year. Honda
says, "The new-generation Trans-
alp is friendly but tough—perfect
for extended touring trips, as well
as the urban cut and thrust, and
all points in between. It's at home
slicing through a mountain pass or
kicking up dust on rough dirt trails,
and it adds to the formula a high-
performance engine, all-new design
and the equipment level that
modern riders demand."
The new Transalp is pow
-
ered by a liquid-cooled 24.5°
inline two-cylinder motor
with a Bosch fuel injection
system. The transmission
is a six-speed.
There are four rid
-
ing modes, Sport,
Standard, Rain and
Gravel plus User op
-
tion, along with five-
level Honda Selectable
Torque Control (HSTC),
with the Wheelie Control
algorithm integrated into the
mode, and three levels of
Engine Brake Control. The
ABS also has an off-road
setting that allows the
rear to be switched off.
Showa suspension includes a
43mm SFF-CATM fork. Wheel travel
is 7.9 inches in the front and 7.5
inches in the rear, and it rolls on
18- and 21-inch wheels. It holds
4.5 gallons of fuel and weighs 459
pounds (curb).
It's offered in one color: Matte
Black Metallic.
Availability is October with a
$9999 MSRP.
