YEARS AGO SEPTEMBER , We looked back at the just-concluded 1993 Supercross and motocross season... Chris Carr made it look easy en route to the Castle Rock TT victory... Je• Emig, Jeremy McGrath and Mike Kiedrowski gave Team USA its 13th straight win at the Motocross des Nations in Austria. The team edged out Belgium by just one point... Carl Fogarty and Scott Russell shared wins at the Assen round of the World Superbike Championship... Danny Hamel won the Hare & Hound National at Wendover... Ryan Hughes and Ty Davis were the stars of the Mammoth Mountain Motocross. Stefan Everts was pictured on the cover for winning his 72nd motocross Grand Prix race. He won both the 125cc and MotocrossGP classes that day in Ernee, France... We tested the 2004 Suzuki RM-Z240, the company's first 250cc four-stroke motocrosser... Alan Cathcart sat down and chatted with KTM boss Stefan Pierer, who said MotoGP wasn't in KTM's future, saying, "...it costs much too much to produce what's needed to get on the top..."
