Moose Racing now offers an affordable alloy rim
lock that has a metal insert molded into a rubber
unit for locking it into the rim. The rubber piece
has a ribbed surface to secure the tire to the
rim. Recommended especially for riders either
running a lower tire pressure or a mousse tube,
the rim locks come in 1.60- to 2.50-inch widths to
accommodate most wheel sizes.

New colorways are out for the ADV-specific Krios
Pro helmet from Klim. The ECE/DOT helmet has
Klim's Karbon fiber shell that includes Koroyd head-
protection technology. The Koroyd system consists
of small tubes welded together that buckle upon
impact to absorb and disperse harmful energy. The
vented helmet's included Transitions Photochromic
faceshield is pinlock-ready and it can be removed
for wearing goggles. The helmet secures on with an
innovative FidLock quick-release system, which is a
magnetic/mechanical buckle fastener.
