I
t all came down to this. After a full season of
Supercross and Pro Motocross, the final round of
the three-race SuperMotocross playoffs concluded
inside the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum, the same
venue that hosted what is regarded as the first-ever
Supercross race. With $1 million on the line for the
450s and $500,000 for the 250s, it was a winner-take-
all in both divisions. In the end, two rookies, Jett
Lawrence and Haiden Deegan, pocketed the dough.
