"We started Friday on the
Supercross setup, and it was way
too steep," he said. "Every practice,
we changed the setup and tried to
roost tonight—but I was able to
charge hard during both motos
and was going forward right until
the final lap of each race."
Ferrandis rounded out the top
five but was never in the hunt for
be a winner-take-all situation at the
series finale.
"From yesterday to today, I just
didn't have much speed," said
Sexton. "I was changing bike
setups in every session a lot, like
big changes. I was just straight-
up slower today. I was happy to
be on the podium, but it was just
damage control since I wasn't
really comfortable."
Aaron Plessinger finished
fourth overall ahead of Dylan Fer

randis, who took fifth.
Plessinger looked better each
time
he hit the track and nearly
took a podium in race two. "The
team and I made some great
setup decisions on the motorcy

cle, and I think it really showed,"
Plessinger said. "The
starts
weren't quite there—I ate a lot of
