T he Monster Energy Star Rac- ing Yamaha Team made the official announcement on Friday, September 8, that previous Red Bull KTM rider Cooper Webb had joined the team and would be making his Yamaha re-debut at the first round of the SuperMoto - cross Playoffs in Charlotte, NC, September 9. Webb, who went pro with the team back in 2013, is slated to finish the year aboard a Yamaha before going full-time for 2024 and beyond. A two-year deal will see him race Supercross, Pro Mo - tocross and the SuperMotocross World Championship playoffs through 2025, with an option for a third-year extension. He'll join Eli Tomac and Justin Cooper as the team's third 450cc rider. "I'm super excited to be racing for the Monster Energy Yamaha Star Racing team again," Webb said. "It feels like a family reunion. It's all the people that I started my career with, and I can't wait to go racing with them again." "Reuniting with Cooper Webb signals not just a homecoming but also a bright horizon for the team," said Team Manager Jer - emy Coker. "We're all pretty ex- cited to get going and to see the legacy he will build in this new chapter with his home team." Webb finished eighth overall (8-7) at Charlotte. CN WIND IN THE P36 Cooper Webb and the Monster Energy Star Racing Yamaha Team officially announced their reunion. Seewer Joins Kawasaki Racing MXGP Team T he Kawasaki Racing Team MXGP announced that Jeremy Seewer will join their effort for the 2024 FIM Motocross World Championship season. The 29-year-old Swiss rider has two MXGP overall wins this year and finished second overall in the 2022 Championship. After six seasons together, Seewer will depart his current Yamaha team and ride alongside current Kawasaki Team rider Romain Febvre. Team Manager of KRT, Antti Pyrhonen, said, "On behalf of KRT, I want to express how excited we are to have Jeremy on board for 2024. Romain Febvre has shown that the factory KX450-SR is a race-winning machine, and we are sure it is capable of winning the championship. With Jeremy as part of KRT in 2024, we have a formidable rider lineup and a very real prospect to achieve our goal of overall championship success." CN Webb Back To Where He Started Long-time Yamaha rider Jeremy Seewer of Switzerland will move to Kawasaki for the 2024 MXGP season.
