Things got nervous right away when Lawrence
started outside the top five in the first moto.
The new champ promptly answered any ques-
tion about coming from behind as he clawed his
way into a podium position and then slingshot-
ted from third to first in a matter of a few laps.
From there on, it was again all Lawrence, and he
motored away from the field to keep his perfect
season alive.
In moto two, Lawrence jetted off the line and
into the early lead, but this time, he had his Honda
HRC teammate Chase Sexton to deal with.
Sexton latched on to Lawrence's rear wheel, but
