fastest lap and began to stretch
his advantage to its largest gap
of 1.6 seconds.
Miller began his gradual
decline, the KTM chewing up
its rear tire and the Australian
dropping to an eventual seventh
place at the flag.
Bezzecchi cemented his place
in second and refused to give
in, closing to within a few bike
lengths of Marquez, but it was
too little, too late, as the younger
of the Marquez brothers scored
his first win in MotoGP competi
