GasGas says the new EC
models have new motors that
are lighter and more powerful
that also improve handling. "This
was achieved by our engineers
repositioning the motors inside
the new frames to centralize
weight and balance things out
a little better," says GasGas.
"Sounds like a small change, but
it's something you'll really notice
when you hit the trails."
The EC models also feature
new frames, sub-frames, swing
-
arms and suspensions. They are
fitted with new WP Xplor open-
cartridge forks and updated WP
Xplor shocks. All EC models use
rear shock linkages.
The ECs also get new body
-
work, forged triple clamps,
Braktec brakes, footpegs, throttle
body injection with a separate
oil tank for the two-strokes, and
new electronic exhaust control
for the two-strokes.
The enduro line will be avail
-
able in September.
