BY RYAN NITZEN PHOTOGRAPHY BROWN DOG WILSON I t's easy to forget that Jett Lawrence is still a 450MX-class rookie after the Honda HRC rider stretched out his moto win streak to 16 at the scenic Washougal MX Park, but it was refreshing to see a somewhat new face, Haiden Deegan, take top honors in the 250MX class for his sec - ond time this season. Both Lawrence, 19, and Deegan, 17, put it to the veterans in the Pacific Northwest by sweeping both classes in round eight of the 11-round outdoor championship. For Lawrence, however, his wins have been getting a little harder to come by, as teammate Chase Sexton has been getting up to speed ever since his return to the championship.
