Harley-Davidson Celebrates 120 Years In Milwaukee H arley-Davidson threw on the celebrations over the July 15-16 weekend to commemo- rate 120 years since the first machine rolled off the produc- tion line in 1903. In a massive collection of events, Harley-Davidson put on the largest music festival in the Milwaukee area this year, head - lined by Green Day on Friday night and closed out by the Foo Fighters on Saturday night with support acts including Abby Jeanne, Kenny Hoopla, Phanto- gram and The Cult. Riders from across the coun- try and the globe descended on Harley-Davidson's birthplace with the majority of the ac - tion staged at the Milwaukee Veterans Park. The Nitro Circus crews put on a freestyle mo - tocross demonstration, and the Ives Brothers wowed the crowds with their Wall of Death and Ball of Steel show. Riders were also treated to custom bike events, competi- tion cook-offs featuring celebri- ty chef Matty Matheson's Burger Build Off, and various events held at the Harley-Davidson museum. Cycle News was also in atten - dance to ride the new Harley- Davidson CVO Road Glide, a full test of which we'll have for you soon. CN WIND IN THE P54 The Harley-Davidson celebration in Milwaukee was a massive one.
