ROUND 7 / JULY 15, 2023 SPRING CREEK MOTOCROSS PARK / MILLVILLE, MINNESOTA MOTOCROSS I PRO MOTOCROSS CHAMPIONSHIP / SUPERMOTOCROSS WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP P66 gap this time was much less, sometimes under one second, and the urgency in Lawrence's riding seemed more obvious than previous rounds. But the checkered flag cares neither for laps led nor margins of victory, rather simply who is there first. Lawrence stayed in it to win it and kept his mistakes to a minimum while his competitors 450MX Can Jett Lawrence be beat? The 19-year-old 450 rookie some- how managed to maintain his win streak in Minnesota, but had what seemed to be his biggest challenge yet in the form of Honda teammate Chase Sexton. The two went at it in both motos with Lawrence again leading every lap in both races. The 7 AARON PLESSINGER 4TH (4-4) 450MX Aaron Plessinger fought hard for a pair of fourths. "A 4-4, similar on paper to the last few weeks, although we're making good progress," said Plessinger. "I closed the gap to the lead riders, so I'm happy with the small gains we've made! We were better throughout the week, too. I need to work on my opening-lap pace, because later in the moto I'm strong, but just need to improve on a bit of that sprint speed to get into position quicker early on." 238 HAIDEN DEEGAN 6TH (5-8) 250MX Haiden Deegan came into Spring Creek with the points lead but left trailing Hunter Lawrence again. "It's my rookie season, and not every race is going to be perfect, so we are trying to finish each round strong and learn. It was my first time at this track, and we learned a lot today, with bike setup and just learning new tracks in general. Now it's time to go back to the Farm and start the recovery process and try to get freshened up for next weekend so that I can get back on the box. Be- cause it's not fun being off of it." MYOWNRACE
