Troy Lee To Be Honored

nounced that iconic
motocross racer, artist
and moto product painter/
innovator Troy Lee will be
the 2023 recipient of the
Edison Dye Motocross
Lifetime Achievement
Award.
Lee revolutionized mo
-
tocross artistry, particular-
ly in helmet painting, visor
design and safety equip-
ment. His talent attracted
champions from various
disciplines, including AMA,
NASCAR, IndyCar and
Formula One.
Lee's journey began
as a teenage motocross
racer in Southern Cali
-
fornia, painting helmets
for friends. He turned his
passion into Troy Lee
Designs, which is now
one of the world's top
custom helmet paint
shops.
The award presen
-
tation will take place
November 4 at 7 p.m.
in the Glen Helen
Museum located at
Glen Helen Raceway.
Motocross legends
Jeremy McGrath, Rog
-
er DeCoster, Johnny
O'Mara, Bob Hannah,
among others, are
expected to attend.
Lee is the 31st
inductee. Glen Helen's
Bud Feldkamp and
Dubya USA's Kristin
and John Anderson
will be the evening's
presenters.

New Balance Bike
From GasGas
G
asGas introduced its brand-new
balance bike. The MC-E 1.20 is
the latest edition to GasGas' fleet of
electric balance bikes.
The MC-E 1.20 comes with 20-
inch wheels, 3.4 inches (80mm) of
front wheel travel, hydraulic brakes
and an aluminum frame. Three
power modes are available, tuned
for beginners to more experienced
riders. GasGas says the bike is
"ideally suited to kids around 10-12
years of age."
Expected MC-E 1.20 to be avail
