the spectator section of the Cavity. The racing action now comes
right into the heart of the Gravity
Cavity spectator area, which [is] a
unique experience for everyone."
Most of the riders praised the
changes.
"I think it made the track flow
a lot better instead of having that
chicane, which kind of forced
everyone into single file going
through there," said Josh Grant.
"It just kind of opened up the
track, which was good."
On the other hand, local rider
Justin Barcia was disappointed
that the old "Apple Tree" turn
was taken out. "I don't know, that
old turn was pretty cool, it was
a good section," said Barcia. "I

think I would have liked to keep
the track the same, but it ended
up being a good track."
This year's track also had easier track access for the spectators thanks to a new tunnel that
was installed.
In other Unadilla news, the
track added a new member to its

changes made to the track at this

he Suzuki MotoGP test team
completed what it called a
successful two-day test at the
Twin Ring Motegi last week,
though the first day was interrupted by rain.
Although test rider Randy De
Puniet suffered two crashes in the
morning session, he was back on
track in the afternoon and tested
two new chassis configurations one of which the team has chosen to develop further at the next
Suzuki MotoGP tests in Italy at Misano next month to obtain more
edge grip and stability.
