O
ne of the crown jewels in
the MotoAmerica cham-
pionship, the very recently
repaved Weathertech Raceway
Laguna Seca, saw the country's
two premier riders to the fore with
Cameron Beaubier (Tytlers Cycle
Racing BMW) and Jake Gagne
(Fresh N Lean Progressive Yama
-
ha) sharing the Superbike wins.
The Supersport class saw its
second "extended" race format of
the season but the result was the
same as Xavi Fores cleared off
for what looked an easy win, his
eighth in a row to mark a perfect
season so far and a class record.
In the Twins Cup races, Rodio
Racing – Powered By Robem Engi
-
neering Aprilia teammates Rocco
Landers and Gus Rodio took the
wins but with Landers crashing
out of race two, Rodio holds a
slender three-point lead over Blake
Davis (N2 Racing/BobbleHeadMo
-
to Yamaha) with Landers dropping
to 18 points back.
