BY RENNIE SCAYSBROOK PHOTOGRAPHY BY BRIAN J NELSON O ne of the crown jewels in the MotoAmerica cham- pionship, the very recently repaved Weathertech Raceway Laguna Seca, saw the country's two premier riders to the fore with Cameron Beaubier (Tytlers Cycle Racing BMW) and Jake Gagne (Fresh N Lean Progressive Yama - ha) sharing the Superbike wins. The Supersport class saw its second "extended" race format of the season but the result was the same as Xavi Fores cleared off for what looked an easy win, his eighth in a row to mark a perfect season so far and a class record. In the Twins Cup races, Rodio Racing – Powered By Robem Engi - neering Aprilia teammates Rocco Landers and Gus Rodio took the wins but with Landers crashing out of race two, Rodio holds a slender three-point lead over Blake Davis (N2 Racing/BobbleHeadMo - to Yamaha) with Landers dropping to 18 points back.
