found the top step of the box
on a track that mimics some
of the European tracks that he
is accustomed to. Vialle had
never led a lap in the U.S. until
Saturday, going from zero to 11
laps led in one afternoon. He
took the lead late in moto one,
capitalizing on Justin Cooper's
late-race tip over, and ran away
with the race win. This set him
up nicely for moto two. Vialle
found himself in the middle
of a nailbiter finish but held a
valiant third to take the overall
win. Even though it's his first win
on American soil, Vialle is no
stranger to the podium with two
MX2 World Championships to
his credit.
team, went 4-4 for fourth for
the second week in a row.
Behind him was a string of new
faces as Garrett Marchbanks,
Jose Butron and Chris Canning
finished fifth through seventh,
respectively.
The Kawasaki trio of Adam
Cianciarulo, Masterpool and
Jason Anderson rounded out
the top 10.
250MX
The points race in the 250MX
class has turned upside down.
After crashing out of last week's
final moto, Hunter Lawrence
saw his points lead cut to 11
over the rookie Haiden Deegan.
French newcomer Tom Vialle
bike setup showed promise as
he stayed close to Lawrence for
as long as possible before being
overtaken by Sexton. He's still
second in points, 67 down from
Lawrence.
"This week again we found
some improvement with the
bike," Ferrandis said. "I did some
hard training in the heat in Flor

ida and at some point, the body
just can't
keep up. I think that's
why I struggled a bit today; I
was pretty tired. In that second
moto, when I was behind Jett, I
just tried, but at some point I hit
a wall and couldn't do anything
except cruise around."
