Fisher almost as quickly. De-
spite starting from pole, Rackley
Racing
pilot Fisher spun up and
then wheelied off the line, giving
himself a big task before even
charging into the first corner.
Estenson Racing's young title
leader didn't fare a whole lot
better and had to contend with
both teammate JD Beach and
talented part-timer Dan Bromley
While granting Bauman, Dan

iels and Fisher a realistic shot at
the win, it's safe to assume few
others in attendance considered
Mees to be the dark horse. After
all, he's Jared Mees.

6TH SUPERTWINS
Dan Bromley doesn't race every
weekend these days, but he gener-
ally makes his presence felt when
he does. The HRP Racing/Memphis
Shades/Mike Vinson/Corbin-backed
pilot said, "We got a helluva good start
in the main and were running third
behind Jared and Briar. I felt good,
I felt comfy, but then my line started
going away. I tried the bottom, but my
bike was not working there, and by
the time I went back to the top, Dallas
was there. We were having a good
time. Going into one—I don't know if he
shut off a little earlier than I expected
or if I tried to hold on a little longer,
but I tried to go around him on the
outside and as soon as I switched to
the outside, he darted to the bottom,
and we just touched tires. It was a little
scary. Luckily, he was able to rebound
and get back on the podium, which is
where I think he would have finished
anyway. I'm happy with the team and
the effort they gave—it was great."
