heading into the last lap of race
one. The former champion has
been in a class of his own since
joining the series late after miss-
ing Daytona and would have had
another victory in the bag had
he not passed under a yellow
flag on the final lap. He was
thus demoted two positions to
third with the win going to first-
timer, Team Iso's Dominic Doyle.
Current champion Blake Davis
(N2 Racing/BobbleHeadMoto
Yamaha) took second.
Landers was in no mood to
repeat his error in race two and
put on a clinic, charging off to an
11-second win over Davis and
Gus Rodio on the second Robem
Engineering Aprilia. Kayla Yaa
-
kov (The WagBar MP13 Racing
Team) put her Yamaha
into fourth
at the flag with Doyle home in
fifth, 16 seconds behind Landers.
In the championship, Davis
still leads with 127 points but
Landers is coming fast with
116. Rodio is third at 114.
