And the eight-time World Cham-
pion would not feature in the
Sunday GP, either.
The Spaniard withdrew from
the remainder of the weekend on
Sunday morning, citing pain from
his cracked rib and general bruis

ing suffered in Germany seven
days ago, marking yet another
low point in his 2023 season.
As the red lights went out it
was Binder who rocketed into the
lead from fifth on the grid from
Bagnaia, Bezzecchi, Espargaro
and Marini.
