hen it's time to perform, the champions always rise.
That's how it was for Francesco Bagnaia (Ducati
Lenovo Team) who, after three races in which he didn't
take top spot after his demolition job at Mugello a few weeks
ago, needed to send a message to his rivals that the champion
isn't going to take anything lying down.
The Italian took second behind good friend Marco Bezzec

chi (Mooney VR46 Racing Team Ducati) in the Sprint race but
turned the tables in emphatic style in the Sunday Grand Prix,
clearing off to the win from Bez with Aleix Espargaro third after
Brad Binder was demoted—for the second time in as many
races—one place for exceeding track limits on the final lap.
