The new GasGas-branded Alpinestars SM-8
helmet is equipped with Mips impact-protection
technology. It has a peak designed to detach
on impact, but can be snapped back into place
if it is still intact. Soft EPP lines the helmet's
neck-brace-compatible opening, which is
sculpted to clear the collarbone. The inner liner
is adjustable for a customized fit and it includes
a canal for adding a hydration tube. Venting
is handled by 18 intakes and 10 exhausts, and
the SM-8 meets both DOT certification and ECE
homologation for use worldwide.

Klim's new Rage off-road goggles have a newly
designed cylindrical-shaped lens that is optimized
for peripheral view and clarity. The scratch-
resistant lens is impact rated to ANSI Z87.1, and it
has an anti-fog coating in addition to foam-filtered
vents to help manage temperature and humidity.
It secures to the outrigger-style frame with an
innovative quick-release slide-and-hinge retention
system. The frame has triple-layer moisture-
wicking face foam and a removable nose guard.
