Fast Frenchman Guillem Farres
did not suit up, either. The Mon-
ster Energy Star Racing Yamaha
Team rider suffered a broken arm
the previous week at the Colorado
National when he and several oth-
ers went down in the first turn. The
injury required surgery.
Briefly...
bounced back from a sixth in
moto one to finish on the box
in race two. He finished fourth
overall.
Red Bull KTM's Cooper Webb
snuck into third in the first moto
after Roczen fell and used 3-6
scores to take fifth overall.
Garrett Marchbanks logged a
bold second in race one but
was forced to pit in race two. He
later finished eighth, dropping
him to sixth overall.
"Sometimes it tingles and
goes numb but mostly it's just
lack of grip strength," the Mon
-
ster Energy Kawasaki rider said.
"I
have to ride that edge, and it's
put me on the ground a lot be-
cause I don't have that strength.
So
now I'm having to be more
patient and figuring out how to
go fast in a different way."
Cianciarulo is fifth in overall
points, just four down from
fourth place.

finish for his fourth
overall victory of
the year.
