Pirelli in Talks to Enter Moto2 and Moto3
P
irelli is in talks with Dorna to take
over from Dunlop as the sole tire
supplier for the Moto2 and Moto3 class
in 2024, Cycle News has learned.
The contract of Dunlop, who has
supplied tires for both classes since
both switched from two-stroke to four-
stroke machinery over a decade ago,
is up at the end of this year.
Even though the British company
wants to continue as supplier, a Dorna
spokesperson confirmed that Pirelli,
who already has a considerable pres
-
ence in the WorldSBK Championship,
is under consideration to take over.
