Star Racing Yamaha rider led
a pack of YZ250F-mounted
teammates for the duration of
the moto and became the fourth
different race winner of the sea

son. He started strong again in
moto two but suffered a tip over,
which dropped him to 11th on
the opening lap. Cooper fought
back from the fall to finish an
eventual fourth but handed
the overall to Lawrence in the
process.

lead, which spelled trouble for
the rest of the field, as he led
every lap of the race en route to
another win. Lawrence has won
every second moto so far and
is now three-for-three in terms
of overall victories. He leads the
points by 16.
"Happy to get out of here with
a win," Lawrence said. "Everyone
wants that 1-1, right? But hey,
we'll take it. Just keep putting
ourselves in good positions and
it'll be what it'll be."

The overalls, though? Those
continue to go the way of Hunt-
er Lawrence. The number-96
struggled again with a poor start
in the opening moto after being
bumped during a nasty first-turn
pileup. He still managed to turn
things around near the halfway
mark as he fought up to second
place. Then it was smooth sail

ing in moto two after race-one
winner, Justin Cooper, hit the
deck just before completing
