Eric Bostrom carries the checkered flag to victory on the cover
20 years ago for winning the AMA Superbike round at Pikes
Peak International Raceway in Colorado; it was Bostrom's
10th Superbike victory of his career, with four of them coming
at Pikes Peak... James Toseland won his first World Superbike
in Germany... Chris Carr chalked up his 59th win at KC Raceway
in Ohio. Six-time World MX champ Stefan Everts took his 56th
career win with his double victory at the Italian Grand Prix; he
also became the first rider to win two Grands Prix in one day.
