"Josh rode really, really well today," said Jacobsen. "My starts just suck, and they've been sucking all year. So, that's one thing that I need to figure out—how to get off the line better. In the race, I feel like we were doing pretty consistent lap times, into the nines and stuff like that. It was kind of a bum - mer not to get the win today, but I felt like I rode pretty good, and my team did a great job all weekend." Herrin led from the start and then tussled with Beaubier in the early laps until Beaubier's BMW M 1000 RR suffered a me - chanical failure that put him out of the race.
