his retirement on live TV imme-
diately after Superbike race two
at Road America, Sunday, June
4, in which he took fifth place.
"Today was my last dance,
my last race," said Elias after
the race.
Elias is a 17-time grand
prix winner across the 125cc,
250cc, Moto2 and MotoGP
classes. In 2016, the Spaniard
made his debut in MotoAmeri

ca, claiming the title the follow-
ing season with Suzuki. He was
also championship runner-up in
2018 and 2019.

suffered a broken
and dislocated
wrist from
his crash at
Hangtown.

Martin is recovering after surgery following his
crash at the start of the second 250MX moto at the
Hangtown Motocross Classic, June 4.
The two-time 250MX AMA National Champion's
right arm was run over in the incident leaving Martin
with what his brother, Alex, said via Instagram was a
dislocated and broken right wrist.
"He's hurting pretty bad from this one," Alex said.
