Sexton had to be satisfied with
two second-place finishes, because
it could've been worse. He started
the day with a big crash in practice
but bounced back as the racing
wore on. And Sexton has been out
-
spoken about long days of outdoor
testing since he wrapped
up the Su-
percross title a few weeks back. He
battled with
Dylan Ferrandis in moto
one and eventually made it past the
Frenchman but didn't have enough
in the tank to chase down Lawrence,
who was long gone.
Moto two put the two Honda's
head-to-head for the full 36 minutes
but a pass, or even an attempted
pass, never materialized. The two
finished an amazing 45 seconds
clear of third place.
"We actually did a full shock
change between the first and second
motos and it was quite a bit bet

ter," Sexton said. "I was riding close
enough,
but I never really had an
