FIRST LOOK I 2024 KTM "W" & EXC-F RANGE P74 Yes, you read correctly, the 450 XCF-W gets traction control and a quickshifter—as an option. Another new item is an Off-Road Control Unit (OCU). OCU is totally independent and replaces the use of electronic fuses and relays. In the event of any electrical component failure, the outputs are deactivated individually, with the error status of each unit indicated by a red or green LED light, making for quick and easy troubleshooting on the trail, and eliminating the need to carry additional fuses. The new 350 and 500 XW-F models fall somewhere between the street-legal EXC-F dual sports and the competition-focused 450 XCF-W. The XW-Fs are off-highway emissions compliant (California green sticker) and are fitted with USFS-approved spark arrestors. The 2024 XC-W and XCF-W mod - els will be available in June, while the XW-Fs and EXC-Fs will follow in August. CN The EXC-F dual sports return with many of the same updates as the new "W" models.
