I needed to just to get myself
slowed down out there. It was
one of those tracks where riding
without rear brakes wasn't crazy,
but it definitely played an advan-
tage in some of the stuff. Part of
it. We train
that every week and
I'm prepared for it. We've got that
white plate back and at the end,
consistency is paying off. I felt
like I rode a winning race again.
I lost the lead on the last lap and
I dug deep and rode as best as
I could. I put a lot of pressure
on Jordan and almost made the
pass a couple times the last cou
-
ple miles. I got pointed around
the hillclimb by somebody.
That
gnarly Penton section, you see
somebody pointing and you
automatically just go that way.
