Super Biker
Steve Wise, who is the subject of this
week's Archives column, was a master
of the late-1970s and early '80s made-
for-television Superbikers race, which
combined many genres of motorcycle
racing into one event. Wise, shown here
in 1982, was a two-time (and nearly
three-time) winner of the race, which
was held at Carlsbad Raceway.
