electric superbikes since 2019
and the company has since
joined forces with the country's
legendary two-time Formula
One World Champion Mika
Hakkinen.
Resplendent in a dark two-
tone silver-and-black finish not
too dissimilar to Hakkinen's
championship-winning McLa

rens of 1998 and 1999 and
limited to 100 examples, the
Mika Hakkinen Signature Edi-
tion comes to the game with an
arm-stretching 1000Nm (737
lb-ft) of torque and 102kW (136
hp) of power via the same elec
-
tric motor and battery platform
as used in the firm's TS Pro
motorcycle.
Weighing a claimed 540
pounds, Verge is claiming a
top speed of 124 mph and a
massive 350 miles of range for
the Mika Hakkinen Signature
Edition, with DC Fast Charging
enabling a 0-80 percent charge
time of just 35 minutes.
The chassis hardware is
similarly top-grade, with Ohlins
providing the fully-adjustable
suspension and Brembo sup

plying their monobloc four-pis-
ton brakes to the Mika Hakki-
nen Signature Edition.
The Verge Motorcycles Mika
Hakkinen Signature Edition will
be on sale for $86,400. Verge
plans to open U.S. operations
late in 2023.
