Daniels did still show himself to be a threat, however, and on a day in which everything worked perfectly for Mees. Now with three wins and four seconds, the teenaged title hopeful only surrendered four points and still boasts a 20-point advantage even keep pace. The answer was, yes, sort of, but not so much so that he could do anything more than keep the champ honest.
