"On the last lap I heard bike
revving, and I thought it was
either a lapper or it was Jett,"
Anstie said. "Supercross is the
reason I came to America. Even
though I turn 30 this week, it's
arguably my first full Supercross
season on a 250 since 2010. I
still feel like a rookie and I'm still
learning."
Lawrence came away with
second in the 250SX main
event. The West points leader
looked calm, cool and collected,
as he navigated the soaked
racetrack. Lawrence worked his
way up to Anstie's rear wheel
late in the race but ditched his
goggles with a few laps remain

250SX East/
West Showdown
The 250SX class proved to be
an exciting battle as the East
and West Region competitors
faced off for the first of two
250SX Showdowns of the year.
This meant both Lawrence
brothers, RJ Hampshire, Haiden
Max Anstie (63) put his
mud riding prowess to
good use in the main event,
getting out to a clean start.
