ircuit of The Americas in Texas is an odd place that
always throws up a few surprises. But at the end of
the day, there's usually two riders who are at or near
the top of the pile—Marc Marquez and Alex Rins.
The former was absent due to his niggling hand injury
suffered in round one at Portimao, the second made good
on a new venture with LCR Honda when he pressured
World Champion Francesco Bagnaia (Lenovo Ducati) into
a mistake, crashing out of the race lead on lap eight.
Alex Rins conquers COTA for a second time and
scores first Honda win in nearly two years.
