He's now second in points, seven points back from the lead. Ken Roczen fought hard for fifth overall. The Suzuki rider ran up front all night and even scored a third in the second main. A pair of fifths in races one and three allowed him to round out the top five. 250SX WEST There was more action in the 250SX West division as Jett Lawrence finally ended his Triple Crown curse. The Honda rider did what he does, qualifying BARCIA DEAL During the press conference, Justin Barcia hinted at a con- tract extension with the Troy Lee Designs Red Bull GasGas team saying, "Hopefully we get that wrapped up next week. The plan is to do two more years with them. It's hard to step away from the sport when I'm riding so good and I definitely want to do another two years." FUTURES Julien Beumer claimed the win in the Supercross Futures division. Beaumer is the newest recruit to the KTM Orange Brigade pro- gram, and he bested some of the top amateur prospects like Ryder DiFrancesco and Daxton Ben- nick. Beumer went untouched in the Futures main. Briefly... Jett Lawrence finally broke his Triple Crown curse.
