Golden State 250 Canceled; Silver
State 300 Postponed

he race organizers of the Best
In The Desert series have
made the decision to remove
May's Golden State 250 event
from the schedule. That event,
which was already postponed
due to weather, will be moved to
November 9-12 and run as the
UTV Legends Championship.
The promoter also stated that
the Silver State 300, scheduled
for April 20-22, is postponed due
to the recent storms causing
flooding on many parts of the
racecourse. They are tentatively
looking at a September date for
the event.
Bryan Folks, Best In The
Desert CEO, said, "Once again,
Best In The Desert has been
faced with some very difficult
decisions. These changes come
with a true love for the sport, and
appreciation for your continued
support of Best In The Desert."
The legendary "Casey Folks"
Vegas to Reno is set for August
16-20.
