Suzuki led off the start from
Ayumu Sasaki (Liqui Moly
Husqvarna Intact GP) and Jaume
Masia (Leopard Racing) who
would both crash out of the race.
The fight behind Suzuki saw
Moreira, the impressive Da
-
vid Almansa (CFMoto Racing
PrüstelGP), Migno,
Scott Ogden
(VisionTrack Racing Team) and
Riccardo Rossi (SIC58 Squadra
Corse) close together. Ogden
made contact with Almansa,
the Spaniard crashing out and
receiving no reward for his
performance replacing Austra
-
lian Joel Kelso, and Rossi also
crashed
out.
That left the podium as Suzu-
ki, Moreira and Migno, the latter
happy with
third as he showed
his pace when called on as a
replacement this weekend.
Ogden crossed the line fourth
but was given a time penalty for
the contact that saw Almansa
crash out—the equivalent of
two Long Laps—and the Briton
was classified fifth behind
Portuguese GP winner Daniel
Holgado (Red Bull KTM Tech3).
Stefano Nepa (Angeluss MTA
Team), Kaito Toba (SIC58
Squadra Corse), Xavi Artigas
(CFMoto Racing PrüstelGP),
Ryusei Yamanaka (Autoso
-
lar GasGas Moto3) and David
Salvador
(CIP Green Power)
completed the top 10.
In the Moto3 championship,
Holgado remains on top with
38 points over Moreira's 36 and
Suzuki's 27.
